The objective of the music ministry is to glorify God through music.  As we assemble together for worship, we come into His presence with singing and playing instruments before the Lord.  We use music to proclaim the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ causing the lost to see, fear and trust in the Lord (Psalm 40:3).  We use music as a means of discipling believers and leading them toward a deeper relationship with God.

There are 3 main responsibilities of the music ministry member:

Spiritual - have a close and personal relationship with God, always drawing closer to Him.
Musicianship - continuously improving the talents given to us by God.
Social - always exhibiting the fruits of the Spirit to all people (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control).

General requirements:

  • A born-again Christian
  • A commitment to God
  • Personal time in the Word and prayer
  • Must attend Landmark for 2 consecutive months
  • Must attend 2 rehearsals before participating in Sunday worship services
  • 1 year commitment to the music ministry
